Moderation Scenarios
A list of scenarios that might arise, and how to handle them.
Member Intoxicated
Eternal Paradise is an adults only hangout, if a member is intoxicated it isn't our business unless:
- The member is breaking the rules.
- The member is acting reckless or making irrational decisions.
- THe member is engaging in sexual activities with other member(s).
If any of the above are true, you should jail the member for a minimum of 6 hours so they can sober up.
Punish them accordingly for any infractions once they are sober. Make sure to clearly explain what happened, and why they are being punished in the jail before they are released.
Member Spamming or Flooding Chats
If a member is spamming (sending the same message repeatedly, or using bot commands repeatedly outside bot channels), issue them a warning for the spam, and attach screenshot(s) as evidence.
If a member is flooding the chats (sending many messages quickly, or posting large walls of text in general chats), also issue them a warning for the chat flood, and attach screenshot(s) as evidence.
When warning for spam or chat flood, use the "spam" predefined reason.
Personal Status Roles Violated
If a member violates another member's DM/friend request status role, or touch status role, issue them a warning for the violation, and attach screenshot(s) as evidence.
When warning for a status role being violated, use the appropriate predefined reason.
Play Status Roles Violated
If a member violates another members' play status role (eg. engages in roleplay, or starts acting sexual with them), jail them immediately and issue them 2 warnings for severity, and attach screenshot(s) as evidence.
When warning for a play status role being violated, use the "play" predefined reason.
Pronouns Disrespected
What to do if a member violates another members' pronoun roles.
- If it's the member's first pronoun offence, gently remind them to check pronoun roles.
- If it's the member's second offence, make a note of it.
- If it's the member's third or more offence, warn them for it and attach screenshot(s) as evidence.
